The Fairmont Miramar, Santa Monica
Hotel located in the heart of Santa Monica. Right on the water with great restaurants and bars located both inside and around the hotel. Perfect for guests who want to be out and about on the West Side and don’t mind being about 30 minutes from the wedding venue. A shuttle taking guests to Hummingbird Nest will be provided the day of the wedding.
Shuttles will leave to take guests to the wedding venue at 2:15pm and 2:30pm.
Everyone should plan to take the 2:15pm shuttle!

Residence Inn Chatsworth booking link
The shuttle will leave to take guests to the wedding venue at 3:00pm.

For our loved ones that are making the trip from other cities and looking into additional options, we highly recommend finding accommodations in West LA (Santa Monica, Venice, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Westwood, etc) or near the venue in Simi Valley. Please do not book reservations in Downtown LA unless you want to experience 45-90 minutes of authentic LA traffic on your way to wedding weekend events.
How we fell in love with Hummingbird Nest
In the very beginning of 2019, Gianna was sitting in a dark mouse behavior room, lit only by a single red light, a dimmed computer screen, and the glowing phone in her hand. At some point in the endless instagram scroll, something stopped her in her tracks. It was the most stunning wedding venue she had ever seen. Instantly, something in her knew.
She went home that night, sat on the bed with her eyes still locked on the carousel of pictures of her dream venue, and told Jimmy she found the place where they were getting married. He said something along the lines of how he would need to propose first before sitting down next to her and accompanying her on the umpteenth pass through the pictures. He then said what everyone else would say when she showed them the pictures for the next few years: it’s beautiful but it’s in LA.
Fast forward to May of 2021, and all of the sudden Gianna's heading to UCLA for medical school. By September of 2022, Jimmy proposed in Malibu. A few months later, the closest wedding venue Jimmy and Gianna toured near their new home in LA, was that one G found sitting in that dark mouse room 3000 miles away. This wedding has been a California dream in the making. They can’t wait for you all to join them in it.

How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP here by September 6th, 2024. If we do not receive an RSVP response from you by September 6th, we will sadly assume you will not be joining us.

Can I bring a plus one?
All guests are listed by name on each formal invitation. If they are not listed by name on the invitation, they are unfortunately not invited to attend. We are planning an intimate wedding and hope to be surrounded by just our closest family and friends on this special day.

Are children invited?
While we are so excited about the little lives you’ve brought into the world, this will be an adults only evening. Please make arrangements to ensure they are well taken care of so you can properly enjoy a well deserved parents night out.

What should I wear?
The dress code is all black, black tie. Ladies, please wear a formal, floor length black gown. Gentlemen, please wear a black suit with a tie, or a black tuxedo with a bowtie (white shirts and ties with color are fine). We request guests refrain from wearing velvet as we hope to reserve this look for special members of the bridal party. Though we request all black, please don’t hesitate to stand out! Whether it’s with sparkles, feathers, silk, lace, or sequins, we expect our guests to be the best dressed.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?
The entire event, from ceremony to reception, is completely outdoors. October in the Valley will (hopefully) be sunny and 70s, but the dry climate sometimes struggles to hold its heat when the sun goes down. Please plan accordingly.
